Only You, by Elnur Maiguduma, was written by Elnur in memory of his mother, who passed away from breast cancer when he was only 20 years old. At the time of her death, Elnur had just started to learn how to play the piano and this song was composed as his way of coping with the tragedy. In 2021, only six years after composing this song, Elnur’s father also passed away from lung cancer. The lyrics are simple and heartfelt, but they carry so much more meaning than what they say on the surface.

Elnur Maiguduma is an Taraba Singer/Songwriter who writes music in English, Hausa and his native Arabic. Growing up in a multicultural environment, it was inevitable for him to be exposed to various types of music. This has allowed him to create new sounds and give diverse life experiences which are translated into his lyrics. Inspired by 90s hip-hop and rock, he began writing songs at age 20.

Elnur is a rapper and singer-songwriter from Nigeria, Taraba state. His journey in music began in 2012 when he released his first single titled 'Traffic'. As well as releasing solo albums, he has collaborated with other musicians. One of his most notable collaborations was released in 2021 where he worked with Dami Ajayi to release their collaborative album entitled Nigezee Raps & Songs.
