A few years ago, I told myself I’d take music up again, but I guess things just hadn’t worked out that way. But last year, when my friend suggested going to an open mic at Zomu Saba, I decided it was time. That night marked the beginning of something wonderful – my comeback as a musician and poet and it was all thanks to Zomu Saba and its amazing staff who helped me along the way to the stage and gave me the encouragement and support I needed to continue honing my skills.
